Internship Description

This is a part-time on-site/ remote (possible) Internship Opportunity in Film Distribution at Wonderfilm.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Acquisitions and Marketing Manager, gaining valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of film distribution and communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating on marketing and publicity strategy plans for theatrical and digital releases of feature films and TV series.

  • Conducting market research to identify promotional opportunities for each product.

  • Engaging with media outlets and grassroots marketing groups to promote films and TV series.

  • Producing digital, cinema, and social media assets for theatrical distribution and home entertainment.

  • Choosing, editing and creating video clips for social media from feature films.

  • Contributing to the design and creation of marketing materials (posters, flyers, DVD covers, etc.) using Adobe Suite, Premiere Pro and/ or Canva.

  • Writing and proofreading press releases and securing digital, print, radio and TV publicity.

  • Maintaining and updating the Wonderfilm website, Linktree, and Bit.ly pages.

  • Coordinating Facebook events and supporting event planning.

  • Developing creative social media content and reporting on marketing campaign performance.

  • Assisting with growing Wonderfilm’s brand & presence through social media, email marketing, screenings, and competitions.

  • Watching and analysing movies for Theatrical, Festival and Digital acquisitions.
